  • All international transcripts must be translated to the United States format by Arizona International Credential Evaluators (see attached).
  1. INTERVIEW
  • Once we have all of the required paperwork allow 2-3 business days for us to process. Once we have processed the application an interview will be scheduled with students/ legal guardians. During this time we can answer any specific questions you may have.

If Accepted…

  • Admissions Department will send an acceptance letter detailing stipulation of tuition, school calendar, contact information, supply list, and other pertinent information regarding the upcoming academic year.

  • Accounting Department will create a tuition contract and payment schedule to be sent to you for approval.
  • Once we have received a signed tuition contract and reservation fee your place is reserved for the upcoming school year.

What does EPA look for in a candidate? The Admission department evaluates applicants on the basis of the application form, the applicant’s academic and social history, school and teacher recommendations. Criteria for admission are also dependent upon the ability and desire to commit to a challenging, academic, college preparatory program and the applicant’s desire to attend EPA.
How do I arrange a campus visit? Contact our Admissions Department
What if I can’t come to campus for admissions interview? Online interviews are available. Contact admissions department to schedule.
When is the application deadline? EPA has Rolling Admissions. No Application deadline. Elite Academies fill up fast and are on a first come basis. Contact specific academy for details.

Are uniforms required? No.

Student Dress Code

Students are expected to dress in a professional manner at all times:

1.     Torn clothing and clothes that do not provide adequate cover, or that are too revealing, are not permitted. Shirts must be worn at all times. All students must change in locker room.

2.     Students are not permitted to wear clothing, shoes, or accessories with offensive slogans or content (as determined by EPA administration).

3.     While in class all shirts must have sleeves!

4.     Shirts must cover mid drift! Short length must cover mid-thigh and leave no part of students backside exposed.

Students who are viewed by EPA as dressing in a manner that violates this code will be asked to change and properly dress while on the EPA campus or in a sponsored activity (including trips, tournaments and games).  Failure to promptly change into appropriate attire will be cause for discipline.

ELITE ACADEMY PROGRAMS

Our Elite Partner Academy are professionals in their respective fields. Hundreds of professional athletes have trained with our Elite Academy Partners: NBA All-Stars, MLB All-Stars, College All-Americans, Overseas Professionals, and amateur athletes looking to get to the next level. These Elite Academy programs are part of the curriculum at Elevation Prep.

SCHOOL-2-CAREER

OVERVIEW

Students will work as an apprentice/intern in their chosen field. EPA has relationships with local professionals that provide our students “Real World” Experience in the form of internships or apprentice programs. Students who apply to this program must meet the following requirements:

  1. Must be 16 years of age or have parental consent.
  2. Must have means of transportation.
  3. Students must be in good academic standing.
  4. Students must attend “School-2-Career” seminar
  5. Students must meet all of the program requirements set forth in syllabus.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM (ELP)

OVERVIEW

All levels of English proficiency are welcome at Elevation Preparatory Academy. Upon registration all non-native speakers of English are required to take an English language proficiency test (TOEFL results are accepted). The ELP program is a requirement for all non-native English speakers and is graded on the pass/fail system. Students must pass each phase of ELP before enrolling into the traditional core curriculum.

Phases of ELP

  1. ELP 1- Assimilation– Students will familiarize themselves with a traditional American classroom setting, peer interaction, student teacher relationship, etc.
  2. ELP 2Accommodation- Students will complete modified assignments in English. Teachers will create lesson plans with ESL modifications (extra time, cooperative learning groups, etc).
  3. ELP 3- Adaptation- Students will be fully immersed in classroom activities and assignments (limited modifications).

Achievement! – ESL students that have graduated from the ELP have demonstrated the skills necessary to succeed in a traditional English classroom setting!

REACH NEW HEIGHTS (COMMUNITY PROGRAMS)

The strength of any community is the people! In conjunction with our academy partners and the Sarasota Community REACH NEW HEIGHTS is a community-based initiative whose goal is to promote a healthy physical, mental, and social lifestyle through a combination of activities, college & career counseling, and basic life skills. Reach New Heightsstrives through hands on experience, to create a unique environment in which young adults of all abilities can feel free to imagine, create, and experience. Offered to all students, programs take place during the course of the school day or after hours depending on student’s schedule.
