Graduated from the University of North Carolina @ Wilmington, in 2003 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In 2004 Kim began teaching High School Science at a Parochial school in New Jersey before returning to North Carolina in for her teaching license. In 2007 she began teaching Biology in North Carolina, and was the head coach of both the boys and girls soccer teams, as well as the Ski and Snowboard teams. Kim Mirasola was awarded Teacher of the Year for Polk County High School in 2012 and continued on to receive the District Wide Title for that year as well.  Kim moved to Florida in 2015 to be near family and start a Hoop fitness business.  Her company specializes in “movement as medicine” and helps aging adults find relief from arthritis and helps teens find relief from PTSD and other Anxiety disorders.
